Terra Louise Hite

Throughout Terra’s life she has found unique ways to approach education and gratefully stumbled upon unschooling when her kids were little. They are now 11 and 15 and revel in having never been to school. Terra has a background as a nurse and a birth doula and ran parenting groups for 7 years. She and her family have unschooled, world schooled, and adventured school and gotten to explore many wonders of this beautiful planet. Her many passions include community theater, food co+ops, photography, costumes, thrifting, the library, farmers markets, the outdoors, potlucks, quirky road trips, minimizing, making music, social activism. gardening, connecting people, and savoring the sunrise. She is grateful to have friends all over the world, to live in a multigenerational home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, and to be part of a great big extended family.
